MyDine were tasked with providing our English-Caribbean catering services for the globally recognised search engine company, Google, and Birmingham based youth engagement agency, Beatfreeks.

How We Did It!
Working closely with our client we established a menu that suited their catering & dietary needs; to ensure our client gave their delegates a wonderful Caribbean corporate catering experience.
Locally Sourced Ingredients Cooked Fresh
MyDine catering also takes pride in health and nutrition and as a result, we use NO added oils, preservatives, additives and/or flavour enhancers.
We take NO short cuts! All of our produce is sourced locally from Birmingham based butchers, fishmongers, and greengrocers. We also source a variety of vegetables from our local allotment, with veggies such as; sweet bell peppers, onions, garlic, tomatoes, Callaloo (Jamaican spinach), pumpkin, courgette, marrow and more all of which were used in our Vegan Coconut Veg Curry main meal.
Our corporate breakfast catering included a selection of freshly baked Danish pastries, morning oats, preserves, butter, a selection of teas and coffees, with our popular Caribbean fruit platters with tropical fruits such as Mango’s, Pineapple, Watermelon, fresh Mint and more.
Inclusive Dietary Requirements
With over 50 different dietary requirements for the event, MyDine constructed a versatile menu that catered to a variety needs to suit all delegates including; vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, lactose-free, halal, nut allergies and many more.
With a focus on flavour and inclusivity for dietary requirements, MyDine produced a range of different menus for the entire 1-day event.
Catering Gone Green ♻️
We take a proactive approach to helping the environment and waste reduction, so when tasked with providing catering to such prestigious organisations, MyDine relished the challenge.
We reduced paper waste all delegates got to enjoy their meals using A-grade crockery and cutlery, instead of disposable single-use plates, knives and cutlery that are widely known to be a heavy pollutant for the environment.
Snack Break Catering
Making sure all of our delegates are well fed throughout the day, we provided a cold finger snack break platters all of which were suitable for vegetarians, vegans, gluten, and lactose-free delegates to indulge in. From fresh pastries, biscuits, fruit platter, chocolates and our selection of teas and coffees served throughout the day.
Hot Lunch Buffet Catering
We’re known for our Caribbean style hot buffet catering in Birmingham and the Black Country. So, it was only right that we put on a Caribbean catering feast for our clients; on offer, we provided delegates with a fully gluten-free menu of Jamaican Jerk Salmon, Browned Stew Chicken and Coconut Veg Curry with sides of Jamaican Rice & Peas, Herby Baby Potatoes and our refreshing side salad.
As a small team, our professional chefs Errol, Seymour and Cleo prepared and cooked all lunches fresh on the day of the event to ensure freshness and flavour.
Following hot lunches delegates were also served our dessert selection of; lemon drizzle sponge cake, gluten-free chocolate brownie and vegan coconut and raspberry bake.
Caribbean Drinks Reception
There’s nothing better than having something to drink and eat before an event comes to an end. Delegates were treated to a refreshing Hedgerow mocktail and cocktail size Jamaican patties to enjoy and network with before making the trip home.
